Night Line Series

Night Line Series The inspiration for the “night Line Series” began several years ago in a college photography class. During the past year I have expanded and refined the original concept. Each shot begins when my imagination is triggered by a location that I discover in my journeys around Southern California. Sometimes an alley or an apartment building will serve as the stage for my Photographs. With flashlights hand-held strobes I draw with light and capture the luminescent designs on film through extremely long exposures. The results are mysteriously appearing bands or light, which become glowing rivers, organic circles, and intricate knots of light.
